Office Administrator / Marketing Assistant

Location: Southampton

GO_modular is looking for a multi-task person for an Office Administrator/Marketing Assistant position to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the Company, as well as being involved and having an input in GO_modular marketing activities. You will be a part of a team based in our Factory office at Totton, Southampton and reporting to the Company Management. You will also be actively involved in much of the company's business! 


Role: 

  • This role revolves around two areas – Office administration and Marketing activities. Responsible for providing an effective and efficient administrative support service to the 

  • Mangement team and to assist where necessary in administrative, marketing and procurement tasks 

  • Managing the day to day running of the Office, and sorting and distributing communications in a timely manner 

  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information Resolve office-related malfunctions and respond to requests or issues 

  • To deal with internal and external telephone calls appropriately, ensuring enquiries are dealt with courteously and promptly 

  • Dealing with client inquiries (e-mail/phone) 

  • Filing e-mails and paperwork, monitoring if paperwork is up to date Managing Company’s presence in social sites including: Professional Digital Medias, LinkedIn, You Tube, Instagram etc 

  • Together with other team members managing the GO_modular web page and working with creation and delivery of all kind of Marketing Materials 

  • Researching on prospective clients, organising and keeping a database of sales calls for/to prospective clients 

  • Undertaking administrative and clerical duties to ensure an efficient service is maintained, according to procedures and timescales 

  • Undertaking other agreed responsibilities and administrative duties as may be necessary to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations 


Ideal Candidate: 


This position will suit an accomplished Office Administrator/Marketing Assistant keen to progress with their career and skills with a Modular Manufacturer, who build bespoke, Residential & Commercial projects in South of England 

  • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, virtual assistant or in another relevant administrative/marketing role 

  • Five GCSE’s including maths and English language, or equivalent 

  • Good degree and good numeracy skills desired 

  • Well spoken and written English is essential 

  • Computer literate with good working knowledge in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and a good knowledge of social media 

  • Intermediate technical skills in InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat 

  • Knowledge of office equipment 

  • Thorough understanding of office management procedures 

  • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving 

  • We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic individual with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and the will and desire to be a part of ambitious 

  • Brand Building team Creativity, enthusiasm and curiosity desired 

  • A positive attitude is also essential
