Electrician
Location: Southampton
GO MODULAR is seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Electrician with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to work for a well-established company in Totton, Southampton.
You must have relevant qualifications and broad experience in your core trade with additional experience and capability to complete tasks outside your core competency. You will be working within a manufacturing environment, producing domestic properties and commercial buildings. The majority of your time will be at the company premises, but some site work is required in preparation and during the installation of modules. You must have a clean driver's license and be prepared to stay away overnight on occasion.
Key Activities:
Installation of 1st & 2nd fix electrical, including Smart Home Systems where specified.
Installation of TV & Data cabling
Electrical Maintenance of the factory.
Requirements:
MINIMUM NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
City and Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection or equivalent
PREFERRED 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
Minimum two years of trade experience
Have the prerequisite technical, statutory, and legislative knowledge for the trade you perform for the company, ensuring you keep abreast of the updates and changes.
Have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the building and maintenance industry.
Basic understanding of electrical layout and elevation drawings
